Oh Tuesday Night

I'm actually quite amazed at the time I am able to put into this blog. Of course, school starts on the 9th, so they definitely will taper off. But as of now I have access to this at work without using up my quota time, and without school to leave and come back to...Well, lucky you guys. Right now it's a holiday. Not for real, but as far as paying goes. I've had "Oh Tuesday Night" stuck in my head all morning, and have gone so far as to hum it. I'm excited for Tuesday on that note. Having the holiday fall on the weekend means it's Monday (Friday for me) and all the 40 hours a week people get today off. So it's like a three day weekend for me. Excellent parking, no supervisors to give extra work, not a heck of a lot of testing...And to top it off Paige's cold drugs are far superior to mine, so I fell very optimistic about the world right now. And anticipatory towards my lovely off week that starts tomorrow. I already have a delightful list of things to do. One of which includes throwing on my wheel and learning to operate my kiln finally. I'm excited. I also have to finish my Grandmother's Christmas present, clean out my room at my parent's house to momentarily move back into in March when our lease is up, and read. I don't have to do that actually, but I think I will. What's nice is that I can do it at work as well. I got a whopping 13 hours of sleep last night, so I'm feeling pretty energetic right now, only the medicine is making me slightly light headed and fingered. And I'm walking slower than usual, which is far from the normal case, and lighter. The only down side to today is that I can't donate platelets and watch a movie due to my cold. I shall live though.

I can't keep up with all your posts! You are a blogging fanatic! I am also excited for your week off, because I have quite a few of the same days of (3 or 4). I still think that we should look into this road trip idea a little further.

I am sad that I might not be able to join you in this roadtrip idea of yours. Even though my car is a vital part of it, so I've heard. If only we could come home late Saturday night. Or unnaturally early Sunday morning, which actually, considering the time at which I must be home, would probably end up being late Saturday night anyway. I would love to go, but unfortunately, I have plans to get my patriarchal blessing Sunday morning at 7:45, which would prevent me from being in Vegas at that time. Also, I would have to fast while in Vegas, which we all know would be horrible considering all the buffets and food that potentially can be eaten while in Vegas.

After reading this entry, I asked McSomethingkins what it meant to be fingered. She responded with "I dont see how that can be anything good?" So i told her that she was the one who wrote it. After a sudden exclamation and being showed where it was in her blog she told me that she meant "light headed and light fingered." She also added that she was on cold medicine and had only the purest of intentions.

I had no idea you had our own kiln. Not to be overly selfish, (just selfish enough) but I do have something that need firing. It was the first thing I ever sculpted. Sadly, when I moved to Utah the movers broke it and I thought it was gone forever. I recently discovered that my mom kept it and I figured out how to put it back together, well mostly. So you should really work on that kiln. Besides I know how you love sculpting since I was in your ceramics 2 class.

That's right. You were Aaron B. Thompson, as opposed to Erin G. Thompson, also in that class. "B" for boy and "G" for girl; man, we were clever. You all should have seen me and Clarkie in our ceramics I class though. They thought we were twins and we never corrected anyone on it. And we threw on the wheels even though none of us knew how to at the time, and subsequently ended up with clay over all of the walls in the wheel room.
